Know what it takes to mind your business

Before I started my online business I was wondering why people go into business and why some become become successful in running their business.
Especially in huge, massive and competitive markets, like internet marketing, I always try to figure out what the successful internet marketers do in order to become successful. It’s a process that never stops, because when you quit learning, it disadvantages the performance of your business as well.
In my search for answers to this questions I found a few similarities that good marketers and entrepreneurs do.
Yes, they all earn a great bunch of money.
But the interesting point is how they get in this position to do that. You see, there is a major step before you can become a good online business owner.
Firstly, successful online business owners spend effort to educate themselves. And they learn from people who are already in the position to make good money with a successful business before they were able to do so.
Why are they doing this?
The essence is that it’s about learning to understand the difference between a good and a bad investment. Let me use an example to make the point: when you want to buy real estate as an investor, but you do not know anything about it and are not really interested in real estate, there is a great chance that your investment turns out to be a bad investment. The physical investment object can be as great as it can be and of high quality as it can be, but when you do not have the passion and skills to manage and control your investment, there is a great risk that your investment turns into disappointment and a loss.
So the lesson that I learned is this:
The main requirement for a good investment is to shape the right mental condition. Your mental assets are the fundamentals that you need to be able to build physical assets, like a business or an investment, that generates income. You need skills and confidence, because the weakness of every business owner is a lack of self confidence. That’s why educating yourself is so important. You will get self confidence as you learn from people who show you what they did and why they did what they did in order to become successful. Trust me, it is a wonderful process. It’s a journey.
No wealth position can endure, unless it is built upon trust and justice. One of the most powerful sentences I‘ve ever read comes from one of Robert Kiyosaki’s books when he made his conclusion what makes some people to become successful business owners:
“They used what they LOVED to solve problems they HATED”. (from “If you want to be rich and happy, don’t go to school”. Robert Kiyosaki, 1992). A very powerful book and I recommend it to you to read!)
What I have learned is that every financial problem is a resource – if you solve the problem. If you learn to take financial problems, such as not enough money, a bad boss, or a mountain of dept and use them as resources and opportunities, to learn from, you have shaped the right mental condition to build your business. This is the key to your freedom and wealth.
I love my freedom and I hate financial problems. So that’s why I started my online business and this blog.
A business is no more than a vehicle from problem to solution. Most people do HATE money problems. The one thing that you do need to start your own affiliate or network marketing business, is that you love to help other people to solve this problem that you hate and they hate too.
In business, you need to have a passion and pleasure to help other people to get the same that you want, because that is what brings you customers.
If you are only interested to help yourself, then take some time to think about what you really want. In that case I suggest that  starting an online business may not be the right vehicle for you.
